Syllabus Our environment:
Eco-system, Environmental problems, Ozone depletion, waste production and their solutions. Biodegradable and non-biodegradable substances.
Eco-system :
All the interacting organisms in an area together with non living constituents of the environment for ecosystem. e.g. Forest, pond
Type of ecosystem
Its is of two types.
a) Natural ecosystem : the ecosystem which exist in nature on its own.
E.g forest, lake, ocean
b) Artificial ecosystem : man made ecosystem are called artificial ecosystem.
E.g Garden, aquarium, crop fields a) Aboitic component : all the non living component such as air, water, land, light, temperature etc.
b) Boitic component : all the living components such as plant, animal, bacteria, fungi etc. are called Boitic component.
On the basis of nutrition Boitic component are furthur divide into :
